A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse (RN) who has earned a Master’s Degree in a specialty area. Certified Family Nurse Practitioners specialize in family practice and provide primary health care to individuals and families. NPs assess, diagnose and manage common, acute and chronic illnesses, administer physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic test and perform common office procedures. NPs emphasize health promotion, disease prevention and patient education.
Physician Assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. As part of their comprehensive responsibilities, PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret test, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery, and in most states can write prescriptions. PAs are trained in intensive education programs accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physiciain Assistant (ARC-PA).
Before joining NCFP in 2013, Mrs. Sharova practiced in hospital, outpatient, and home health care settings in Georgia and abroad. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and has a special interest in Preventive medicine and treating obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. Yelena resides with her husband in Alpharetta. She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and cooking.

Hanna Park received her undergraduate degree in Nursing with honors at The University of Iowa before she moved to Atlanta in 2009. She was a surgical and transplant nurse in the ICU for 7 years before receiving her Master’s degree in Nursing at Emory University in 2014. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Hanna enjoys spending time at home with her husband and son.

Kelly MacPhaul joined North Chattahoochee Family Physicians in 2015. Kelly was raised in the Greater Atlanta Area. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. Kelly continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating with honors and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Bonnie Chapman is a native Georgian. She has over 34 years’ experience in the medical industry. . She worked 16 years for what is now Emory Eastside Medical Center. While at Emory Eastside Medical Center, Bonnie was instrumental in setting up the Senior Mental Health Unit along with Grace Nadolny, MD and Ted Brockett, MD. From there, she worked for HCA setting up practices that ranged from Geriatric to Ob-Gyn. Bonnie has been married for 38 years to, her husband, Scott and has two boys, Ross and Kyle. She enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, Clementine and Conor. In her spare time, she sews, paints and is an avid reader.

Our front office staff employees are very dedicated and knowledgeable in the areas of registration, scheduling, eligibility and billing. Please feel free to contact our staff if you have any questions or needs.
We are a “Preferred Provider” for more than 30 Insurance Carriers.Below is a list of insurers we contract with. If your insurer does not appear on the list please contact them directly, we may have a contract with them and not show up on the list.
Our staff will electronically file your medical claim if you have an HMO or PPO plan that we contract with.
If you have an indemnity plan or a plan which we do not contract with, you will be asked to pay for services at the time of your visit.
